Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling machines and plant equipment and developing sales in the region: Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.
  • Developing the local sales network and liaising with and training the parties (including agents) involved to support sales opportunities
  • Supporting local sales network during customer visits (presentations and negotiations).
  • Preparing budgets and sales strategies for the sales region.
  • Managing multinational key customer accounts.
  • Achieving targets in each assigned sales region (equipment & customer service).
  • Having overall responsibility in Thailand as well as managing specific sales responsibilities for Leybold Optics products.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Development or Chemistry. A Master’s Degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in sales of advanced materials.
  • Strong background of enhancing machinery products and in particular thin-film packaging, metalizes, film-lines, slitters or converting-equipment.
  • Knowledge of upstream and downstream processes along the value chain of barrier packaging solutions.
  • Knowledge of fundamental contract law.
  • Sales experience in Asia.
  • Systematic and precise approach to keep track of all sales opportunities.
  • Strong level of assertiveness and persuasiveness.
  • High level of independence.
  • Openness in dealing with other cultures.
  • Ability to lead negotiations and resolve conflicts.
  • Team skills – lead and at the same time work as a team member.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
