Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Working in teams to develop and implement particular project(s).
  • Creating and implementing a prospecting plan.
  • Developing and executing a company strategy.
  • Providing talent management solutions advice to the company.
  • Providing research studies and information to the Head of Strategic Planning and Management Teams of the company regarding the following areas: political, economic, social, technological, market research, business / industry trends, competitors / customer research information.
  • Handling business development and strategic direction of the department.
  • Overseeing the delivery of strategic change, meeting set revenue targets, discovering new revenue opportunities and driving the implementation of new opportunities.
  • Providing financial advice and determining strategic financial directions.
  • Liaising with overseas universities/partners and providing advice to the management team.
  • Conducting presentations or product demonstrations and developing discussion papers or proposals.
  • Handling transition projects for delivery to partners and participating as needed in critical client meetings to ensure smooth project launch and implementation.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Marketing, Finance or Engineering discipline. An MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate development, business development, corporate strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance or related fields.
  • Previous management consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm is highly preferred.
  • Proven abilities in leading cross-functional teams and providing project management support.
  • Proven abilities in conducting and/or analysing research related to consumers, industries and competitors.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Possess structural / strategic problem solving skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and able to work cross-functionally.
  • Have strong commercial sense.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
