Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Taking the company to Public (IPO)
  • Being responsible for financial and accounting functions such as authorizations, controlling all transactions and handling day to day operations.
  • Handling cash flow management and credit management.
  • Monitoring the cash flow situation (follow-up on sales and collection and working capital i.e. inventories and A/P days of payments)
  • Matching the cash flow requirement with the need of cash by borrowing from approved banks
  • Monitoring and supervising accounting transactions, including AP and AR.
  • Ensuring the accounting records and taxes are correct and comply with statutory requirements and governing laws.
  • Overseeing the timely closing of accounts (monthly, quarterly and year-end closing).
  • Analyzing financial statements and highlighting abnormal transactions and expenses.
  • Monitoring the cost of manufacturing and all expenses of all other departments/divisions
  • Handling company documents regarding annual reports, AGM and BOD meetings.
  • Coordinating and liaising with financial institutions, customers, suppliers, auditor, Revenue Department officers, SET/SEC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Aged 40 – 50 years old.
  • CPD license holder.
  • At least 2 years work experience in a Public Company Limited.
  • Willing to undertake a range of roles as required in a small office environment.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Flexible with time and able to maintain strict reporting deadlines.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Good PC skills (Excel, Access, Word and accounting programs).
