Job Description

The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Manager and handle key responsibilities, as follows:

  • Managing Human Resource Training and Development Planning & Budgeting.
  • Supporting and driving company values and philosophy and ensuring all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organisation's mission and vision.
  • Being responsible for managing Employee Engagement and Employee Recognition Surveys for evaluating and implementing suitable training and development programmes.
  • Being responsible for executing the entire training process, needs assessment, development and/or outsourcing of training programmes, including content, delivering of training programmes and evaluation of the effectiveness of training.
  • Developing and implementing guidelines regarding career development planning and succession planning.
  • Developing and delivering management information reports to track and benchmark learning and development participation, costs, benefits, etc.
  • Continuously improving training and development processes and procedures to fit with business needs.
  • Identifying training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with thr HR Manager and department managers.
  • Designing and developing training and development programmes based on both the organisation’s and the individual's needs.
  • Managing the delivery of training and development programmes (monthly and yearly) and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organisation.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
  • Evaluating training and development programmes.
  • Preparing reports based on appraisals, skills assessments and training programmes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years HR generalist experience (3 years at supervisor level) with a multi-national or leading organisation.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge and background in the areas of assigned training and an overall knowledge of company operations and policies. The incumbent must have the ability to organize and plan work efficiently and communicate effectively.
  • Requires training knowledge and skills developed through several years of experience in the training field.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and negotiation skills, team-oriented and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have experience working in a multinational company and be a strong and outgoing character.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and SAP/ERP.
  • Good command of the English language.
