Job Summary

  • The IT Operations Lead is responsible for the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure personalized IT support is provided at office and manufacturing location
  • Develop excellent relationships within the company.
  • Rapid response to internal stake holders
  • Obtain approval for all IT related changes
  • Coordinate agreed upon Global outage windows affecting the site
  • Primary point of contact for escalations on incidents, service requests, and support

Job Responsibilities:

  • Employees at all levels are expected to keep abreast of new and changing technology and methods that enhance their skill set. This can be accomplished through continuing learning at outside classes, seminars, reading and other related training opportunities.
  • Employees are expected to find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities in their job.
  • Employee will interact with variety of stake holders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal).
  • Exert independent decision making around activities pertaining to site support requirements.
  • Manage GIS suppliers’ outcomes as it pertains to the support of the local site and resource levels to support business needs.
  • Provide communications to site management in regard to GIS services and operational issues which impact local site operations.
  • Oversee services provided on site by the GIS supplier assure the services meet customer expectations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge in service level management and proven ability to assess operational needs
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • SAP experience is highly desirable, but not required
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering and solution options development
    • Demonstrated experience with mapping of business processes, KPIs, data flows and conceptual models
    • Participation in demand management, prioritization, and business case development
    • Project participation experience, including understanding of full lifecycle implementations for major information management capabilities
    • Ability to translate technology concepts into business terminology
    • Ability to collaborate within a team while exercising independent judgment and initiative
