Our client promotes a well-known premium ice-cream brand in cafes, retail and food service channels. They are one of the world’s leading food companies and operate in more than a hundred countries. In SEA, they have offices in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Due to their rapid growth, they are looking for a suitable candidate to join their team in the position of Key Account Executive. 

Job Description: 

  • Developing, planning and executing short to mid-term sales strategies and achieving all objectives, including net sales, trade and deliveredmargin for all brands.
  • Meeting / exceed key financial objectives including net sales, trade and delivered margin for assigned channel.
  • Planning and executing nationwide and ad-hoc key account promotions, NPD launches and other in-store promotions necessary to achieve sales objectives and targets.
  • Partnering with the National Sales Manager to plan and negotiate annual trading terms, effectively balancing customer and company interests to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Maintaining effective management of trade spending and overall profitability of key customers.
  • Utilizing sales analytics to identify opportunities for growth and to drive profitable bottom line.
  • Building strong partnerships with key customers.
  • Providing accurate and timely information for decision-making.
  • Conducting regular business reviews with key retailers.
  • Meeting assigned merchandising standards; ensuring stock weight, coverage, distribution, shelving and freezer performance meet expectations.
  • Updating the National Sales Manager on movement or work progress in weekly and monthly reports.


  • Ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of professional experience in FMCG and modern trade.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of developing sales and strong customer relationships as well as developing and implementing trade initiatives related to the modern trade channel.
  • Full understanding of respective retail market environment – modern trade, convenience stores and food service.
  • Strong ability to influence others.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Intelligent, achievement oriented, self-motivated, pleasant personality with the desire to learn and grow.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Thai and English.
