Job Description

  • Providing a strong understanding of PLCfor setting up and controlling process parameters of automated machinery to meet efficiency standards. Being familiar with robots, sensors, actors and servos, etc.
  • Being a member of the local Engineering Team and conducting root cause analysis, and, providing support in relation to production & quality assurance.
  • Being responsible for the capabilities and productivity of all manufacturing processes along with developing specific indicators (process-KPI).
  • Defining, planning, conducting and controlling corrective measures from data analysis to ensure efficient output, cycle times and product quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Managing the optimization of production and value stream; being responsible for continuous improvements and Lean manufacturing.
  • Conducting predictive maintenance, developing preventive wear indicators, optimizing instructions, controlling and organizing spare parts; preparing machinery documentation.
  • Actively coordinating with overseas engineers and reporting to the Production Manager.
  • Conducting various projects as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or higher preferably in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics/ Electric, Instrument Engineering.
  • At least 5-year experience with PLC (Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley).
  • Good command of the English language and excellent MS Excel skills.
  • At least 5-year experience in automated production & process engineering, preferably from an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Minitab, SAP/ERP, MRP, CAD and ISO TS 16949.
  • Strong and self-responsible in terms of organization, planning, analysing and coordination.
  • Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, TPS, 6Sigma, Kanban, Document Control and Project Management.
