Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Printing Department to produce printed reels to agreed output levels with maximum conformance to agreed order-to-delivery time cycles and to agreed print standards.
  • Supporting the Pre-Print department in new design preparation concerning printability.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement
  • Managing staff in a manner which is seen to be motivating, equitable and transparent.
  • Ensuring that all staff are trained up to their maximum potential, capability and job flexibility with an objective to “bring on” Thai supervisors.
  • Adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Cooperating and participating in the development of existing and new products.
  • Controlling ink & solvent, cylinder and steel base stocks to agreed stock levels.
  • Responsible for other printing “consumables” such as blades, pressure rolls, to ensure consistency of supply and implementation of latest development.
  • Cooperating with the Maintenance Department to ensure that machines are systematically maintained to maximum operational efficiency by PM and TPM.
  • Managing departments cost center budgets.
  • Coaching and training staff to achieve maximum potential, capability and job flexibility.
  • Breakdown root cause analysis and preventive action.
  • Defect root cause analysis and preventive action.
  • Supporting department and plant targets.
  • Driving LEAN systems.
  • Working with SAP and IBA analysis to get data.
  • Daily audit 5S, Safety and Printing process.
  • Follow up Company’s regulations, Safety’s regulations, BRC, HACCP, SEDEX, ISO and 5S.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Printing, Extrusion, coating Business as a supervisor level.
  • A persuasive character and the ability to work with different cultures.
  • Experience in multinational company is an advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good communication skills.
