Company Background:

Our client promotes a well-known premium ice-cream brand to cafe, retail and food service channels.  They are one of the world’s leading food companies and operate in more than one hundred countries. In SEA they have offices in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Due to their rapid growth, they are looking for a suitable candidate to join their team in the position of Sales Executive.

Job Description:

  • Developing, planning and executing short to mid-term sales strategies and achieving all objectives.
  • Updating the National Sales Manager on progress, producing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Prospecting and growing the food service customer base while maintaining and developing strong business relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers.
  • Achieving sales and overall account targets.
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating account plans with the goal of maximizing sales value and increasing distribution points.
  • Ensuring accounts receivables are collected promptly.
  • Budgeting, monitoring and achieving set sales targets.
  • Tracking, controlling and managing the use of trade funds.
  • Supporting corporate services with event management coordination.
  • Gathering market, customer and competitor information.
  • Participating in and playing a key role in product/demand and sales/marketing meetings.
  • Ensuring timely submission of monthly management reports.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have more than 3 years of professional experience in food services, dealing with restaurants and hotels.
  • Prior experience in an FMCG company is preferable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field, MBA preferable.
  • Proven track record of developing sales and customer relationships.
  • Experience of developing and implementing trade initiatives related to the modern trade channel.
  • Strong understanding of the retail market environment – especially food service businesses.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Intelligent, achievement oriented, self-motivated, pleasant personality with the desire to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
  • Thai nationality
  • Able to travel up country frequently
