Job Description

Background:

Our client is a worldwide automotive parts (tires) manufacturer, distributor and retailer. They now need a highly motivated person with the technical skills for the position of Technical Service Manager.

Job Description:

  • Determine and establish local warranty and complaint handling procedures.
  • Ensure that inspections for tires returned under warranty meet company standards.
  • Ensure qualified resolution of technical and product related questions from users.
  • Consult local sales a marketing organizations for technical aspects.
  • Provide “on-site” field-engineering support for warranty and technical services.
  • Evaluate and summarize performance reporting to competitors.
  • Build up, train and lead a national customer service team, covering all relevant sales territories of China.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the tire industry.
  • Experience participating in product development projects or on a product improvement task force.
  • Good command of English.
