Discussing on the Benefits of Diversity in the Workplace."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>June 25, 2019 &#8211; Stuart Reid, Senior Vice President &#8211; Executive Recruitment, Banking and Financial Services from PRTR attended the discussion on &#8220;Diversity in the Workplace&#8221; organised by Thai-German Chamber at SO, Sofitel Bangkok and shared the experience in the field of diversity in the workplace through the perspective of a recruitment consultant with experience in recruiting senior executives for leading organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Stuart emphasized the importance of &#8220;Ability&#8221; that it is and should always be the main factor in hiring, regardless of gender, age or ethnicity. The benefits of diversity and inclusion whilst coupled with an ability-focused hiring strategy will drive the productivity of companies through a diversity of ideas and insights. Stuart\u2019s thoughts on the current situation for the up-and-coming generation of Thai leaders was that their ability to drive diversity and inclusion from an ability-oriented perspective is strong based on their increased exposure to different groups through educational, working and social interactions.<\/p>\n<p>Continual progress, driven by ability with the benefits of diversity being recognised and realised, will increase Thailand\u2019s competitiveness on the regional and world stage, whilst also closing gaps in opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The topic of this discussion is highly
