On September 26th, The Blacksmith had the honor of participating in the Digital HR Forum 2024, organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES) and the Digital User Group Association (DUGA). The event brought together participants from various public and private sector organizations to exchange perspectives on workforce development in the digital age.
On this occasion, Ms. Jariya Boonpitaksatit, Senior Vice President of Training Services at The Blacksmith, joined a panel discussion on the topic “How to Reskill and Upskill the Entire Organization for Digital Transformation,” alongside Dr. Arporn Densiriaksorn, Senior Scholar at the Digital Government Development Agency, and Dr. Chanakan Sriratanaban, Director of the Master of Science Program in Digital Innovation and Technology Management at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Jariya emphasized the importance of developing both hard skills and soft skills, as well as fostering an open mindset towards technology—key factors that enable employees to deliver sustainable performance.
“An organization grows when employees are consistently productive. Therefore, it is crucial to enhance their capabilities not only in hard skills but also in soft skills, while fostering an open mindset towards technology.” Said Ms. Jariya.
The Blacksmith extends its gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to participate in this important forum. This event highlights the collaboration between the public and private sectors in enhancing the capabilities of Thailand’s workforce, which has always been a priority for The Blacksmith.
